I forsaken my 07 Si off at the play this sunrise since my VSA and ABS lights have both been on for a whilst and the play called me and is claiming that the Left back circle speed sensor is bad AND the VSA Modulator needs to be replaced. The Speed sensor w/ partslabor, they are claiming to cost around $180 but the VSA Modulator they are giving me a cost of $843 + 11.5 Aparate Foto list hours of labor.
I feel similar to they"re perplexing to screw me tough here. Can any one blow up on this? Is there anything else that I can rebut their claims with???
VSA Modulator alone can cost around $500 to $800.

Yes I assimilate that, but my point is aren"t there alternative things that means these foolish VSA/ABS/! lights to come on OTHER than replacing the unequivocally majority costly piece of the VSA BS system?

PS What happened to "Honda Reliability" ? I don"t meant to be that man that has a couple of things wrong with his car and bitches about it, but really.. my car is a with 52k miles on it. There"s a lot of costly **** going wrong that I wouldn"t design from a 4 year old Honda.

No I didn"t buy an lengthened warranty. My car is an 07 with 53k miles. I paid for a Honda so I figured I didn"t need an lengthened warranty. Honda is ostensible to have this uber overwhelming trustworthiness lane jot down but patently that"s a crock of $hit.
My Dodge NEON SRT4 was some-more arguable than this car has been.
Speed sensor is seventeen dollars and not tough to reinstate AT ALL. I did cave myself and my abs light rught away went off after I was done. Not certain about the vsa modulator. If I were you I"d buy the tools from hondapartscheap or bernardihonda or something similar to that and do it yourself.
